Holding on Baby.. Don't let go

As many of you know February plain sucked. Staying positive we decided to move forward into March. Not much better if it is worse. As many of you know that Dan is the primarily, power of attorney for his grandma who is 88 years old. Since November she has been having trouble eating. Something with the muscle in her esphogas that suppose to loosen and let food thru. Well this muscle will not loosen and let food thru. So thus the food comes up. Thanks to the great healthcare system of this country she hasn't ate a proper meal since NOVEMBER. With her scare in the hospital in February, Dan had no other opinion than to put her into a recovery center aka. nursing home. That did not go over well but it was another weight off Dan's shoulders. And I don't know about you ladies but when your husband is stressed out, you ARE STRESSED OUT!! Basically we work, sleep and spend some time with Brooke but mostly Dan is trying to spend as much time with this grandma. This whole ordeal has been draining on him. Mostly he feels very alone. For those you that know us personally, his grandma is basically his only family. She was there and helped raise him. I don't know about you but there are no words for me to say to him to make this all better. Just being there and taking care of everything at home. Let me tell you it can be tiring. Cleaning before work, going to work, working, then getting into my mindset to sing nursery rhymes and play peek a boo. Then I have to switch gears after I put Brooke to bed. Do some chores, cook dinner and get ready emotionally to take on whatever happened today. These are our days. Weekends are filled with Brooke loving for me. Weekends seem to be a breath of relief. We are hoping for good, positive out comes. But mostly we are just taking a toll emotionally, which tires you physically. Lots of real life going on in our lives right now. The stress and tensions can be high at times but luckily we have beautiful baby girl that brings us such joy, she makes it tolerable. And we need to personally thank our close friends for being there and listening and letting us lean on you. Letting us know we are family to them! <3 ya all!!
